Elizabeth Ann Peterson (Snelgrove)

The family of Elizabeth Ann Peterson (née Snelgrove) is deeply saddened to announce her peaceful passing at Grace Hospital in Toronto on December 24, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Liz, as she was affectionately known, is now finally at peace.

Liz leaves behind her precious daughter, Brianna Peterson, and her loving brother, Michael Snelgrove. She was the cherished daughter of Albert Everett Snelgrove and Vivian Snelgrove, and her stepmother, Marie Snelgrove. Liz will be lovingly remembered by her stepbrother Jason Quenneville (Dawn) and stepsister Kelly McNenly (Brad), as well as by her nieces and nephews Cody (Amanda) Albert, Cheyenne (Matt) McNenly, Aaron (Kelsey) McNenly, Lauren, Dylan, and Mia Snelgrove, Jo-Ann Brown, Peter (Tammy) Brown, Tammy (Terry) Scott, and Joe Miller.

As per her wishes, Liz will be cremated and her ashes interred at Camborne Cemetery at a later date. There will not be a formal funeral service. The family finds comfort in knowing Liz's vibrant spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew her.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West. Donations in memory of Liz can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences and tributes may be shared at Oshawa Funeral Home.
