Michael Polidano

December 26, 1946 - November 15, 2024

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Polidano on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 77. Michael passed away peacefully at home due to heart failure.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Patricia Jean Polidano (née Peddle), his loving children Lisa Hefford (Johnnie) and Michelle Sutherland (William), and his cherished granddaughters Abygail and Gwenyth Sutherland.

Michael lived a full and happy life. He was passionate about traveling, especially to his home country of Malta. He loved working in his garden, tinkering with tools in the garage, and engaging in lively discussions about the TTC, hockey, and football. A proud retiree of Local 113, Michael spent over 32 years working at the Roncesvalles Division.

Michael will be fondly remembered for his smile, generosity, and warmth. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace. May God always keep him in His care.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Assumption Catholic Funeral Home, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the same location on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
