Donna Mae Powless

February 3, 1933 – December 20, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Mae Powless (nee Price) on December 20, 2024, at the age of 91. Daughter of the late Norm and May Price (nee Jackson) and predeceased by her sister Norma and brother-in-law Reg Smith, Donna leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience.

Donna is survived by her cherished children Bradd (Nancy), Gregg (Patricia), Todd (Susan), and Jill (John); her beloved grandchildren Jason (Karen), Christopher, Courtney (Michel), Heather, Matthew (Arissa), Jennifer (Brock), Nathaniel (Hanan), Leigh-Anne (Ben), David, Samuel (Erin), Jacob, Cody, Jordan, Kyle (Amber), Cara (Brad), and Kelsey; great-grandchildren Aiden, Braiden, Reanna, Cody, Mavis, Kendra, Alyssa, Connor, Madeleine, Alexandre, Grace, Jaxon, Eleanor, Maise, Max, and Graham; and great-great-grandchild Nova-Lynne. Donna is also lovingly remembered by her nieces Debbie and Terrylee.

Donna faced life's challenges with grace, intelligence, and kindness. She adored her family and close friends, even as Alzheimer’s disease gradually limited her ability to express her affection in her later years. Her spirit, love, and wisdom remain with those who knew her.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mojeed, Sarah, and Ashley from VHA, and Christine from Ontario Health atHome, as well as the compassionate personal support workers from Paramed and CBI, including Renata, Maria, Cherrylynne, Afsana, Chanti, Jessica, Jill, Tobin, Charlene, and Irina. Your care allowed Donna to remain in her beloved family home with dignity and comfort.

A special thanks to Susan, Cheryl, Leigh-Anne, Cara, and Kelsey, whose devotion and care enabled Donna to fulfill her final wish of staying at home with her family.
