PRATT, Kenneth Lawrence -
January 13, 1934 - August 11, 2024
Ken passed peacefully, into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario, at 90 years of age. Beloved husband of Violet.
Ken was predeceased by his children, Laurie and Mark Pratt, and has lovingly been reunited with them and other family members and friends.
He is survived by his brother, Norm Pratt; sister, Arlene Clemens; granddaughters, Carley (Jordan) and Samantha (Tim); as well as his daughter-in-law, Peggy Pratt; and son-in-law, Don Forster. Ken and Violet were married October 1, 1955, and have been together for 70 years.
He retired from the Toronto Star in 1997, after a long career as a compositor.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of hearing his testimony or musical skills.
A Celebration of Life will take place at New Life Fellowship Baptist Church in Innisfil, Ontario, on August 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A light luncheon will follow.
