Donna Doris Puschel (née Carmont)

March 23, 1941 – December 17, 2024

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Doris Puschel on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Stig Puschel, whom she missed deeply since his passing in 2018.

Donna was also predeceased by her parents, Robert and Margaret Carmont (née Eagles), brother Robert, and sister Evelyn. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Gloria and Carolyn, and her brothers Hal (Sonnia) and John (Paula). Donna will be deeply missed by her nephews, Paul (Annette) Gomirato and Greg (Lisa) Gomirato, and great-nieces and nephews Adele, Aaron, Bradley, and Erica. Her extended family in Southern Ontario and British Columbia, as well as many special friends far and wide, will cherish her memory.

Donna was a talented gourmet chef known for hosting unforgettable evenings filled with delicious food, fine wine, and laughter. Her great sense of humor and gracious hospitality left a lasting impression on everyone who shared time with her. She also found joy in gardening and took pride in her outdoor spaces.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Mirka, the staff at Health Sciences North, and the caregivers at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre for their compassion and support during Donna’s final hours.

Cremation services have been provided by Lougheed Funeral Home. A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at a later date.
