JACOB, Rachel (née Mandel) (Sommer) - With heavy hearts and tremendous sadness, the family of Rachel Jacob announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
Beloved wife of Avram Jacob for 28 years. Treasured and loving mother and mother-in-law of Bella and Benny Hirshenbaum, and Sharona and David Scholl. Cherished Safta of Teddy, Orly (Lidor), Liel, Bryan (Alex), and Andrew. Special Great Safta of Liam and Emily.
Survived by her dear sister Tova, her late sisters Paula, and Zina, and by her late brothers Sandu, Hersh, and Berku. A wonderful and special aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Rachel had an adventurous spirit, loved travelling and laughing, but the centre of her life was always her family.
She will forever be remembered for the love of her family and all those who had the great fortune to have known her
