Lizabeth Ann Raja

July 20, 1961 – February 1, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lizabeth Ann Raja, who passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the age of 63, after a courageous three-year battle with ovarian cancer.
She exhibited unwavering strength and determination, never giving up until her final breath.

Lizabeth was a devoted mother to Madelyne and Danielle, and a cherished sister to Mike and Suzanne (late Herb).
She was the adoring aunt of Emily (Nik). Predeceased by her beloved parents, Barbara and Jim Bertrand.

Lizabeth’s memory will live on in the hearts of her partner, Peter, and his children, Carnation and Joanna.
She will also be fondly remembered by Tom, the father of her children.
Liz was the sister-in-law of Ilme (Mati) and Elsi (Gary), and a proud aunt of Mailiis, Krista, and Liisa.

Liz was deeply grateful for the positive, caring, and empowering treatment team at Markham/Stouffville Hospital.
