BLEASDALE, Raymond Henry - (July 18, 1947 – December 3, 2015)
We celebrate Ray Bleasdale, and his journey in life.
Born in Liverpool, England, Ray travelled to Ontario, by boat in 1967.
Ray will be remembered as a loving husband and best friend to his wife Donna. He was her Ray Of Sunshine.
Loving Father and Dad to Tony (Daphne), Mark, Aimee (Paul) and Sara (Julien). Rock'n Granddude to Ben, Henry; Alicia, Ethan, Jacob; Julia and George. Dear Brother to his sister Sue of England, Pete, Elisabeth and Sarah.
Ray was a man with many hobbies, including the great outdoors, camping, canoeing, and photography. He enjoyed his time with family and friends and the many summer evenings poolside under the gazebo with BBQ and beer. Ray was also an avid reader who could never read enough books.
But foremost, Ray is known for his true passion in life: his love of music and performing. Ray spent many of his early years playing in bands throughout his native England. A man of music, Ray was always cooler than the flipside and brought joy to his audiences through his music and humor.
He will be remembered by family and friends for his many solo acts in his Jam'n Studio. Everyone knew they were in for a party when Ray started playing!
Ray you will be Forever Young. Your life was a great gig! May you Rock On in eternal happiness with the choirs of angels as your backup vocals.
In honour of Ray's wishes, cremation has taken place without service.
The family encourages family and friends to plant their own tree in celebration of Ray's life and the memories you cherish of him.
