James ‘Jim’ Edward Reeves

January 4, 1940 – March 23, 2025

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, surrounded by his family, at the age of 85.

Loving father of Brad (Jennifer) and Marni (Michael). Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Madison, Mackenzie, and Mitchell. Predeceased by the love of his life, Sandra Reeves, by his parents Charles & Gwendolyn Reeves of Brantford, ON, and by his brother Leslie Reeves. Jim will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Dee Iezzi (Cathy) and sister-in-law Jayrene Thomson (Paul). He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews.

In 1973, Jim built a cozy cottage on Jack Lake, where he spent many summers relaxing on the dock, savouring caesars, and making memories with family and friends. His quiet strength, warm humour, and deep love for his family will be remembered always.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
