WALKER, Renia Mary - It is with great sadness the family of Renia Mary Walker announces her passing in her 91st year, on June 9, 2022.
Renia (Irene) Walker was the loving wife of John Walker for 68 years.
She is now reunited with her son, Douglas Buchanan. A loving Mother to Stuart and Sophia.
Gma to her grandchildren, Shannon, Michael and Richard; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Charlotte and Harper. Growing up during the Depression, she had to face much personal adversity with determination throughout her life.
She was a true matriarch finding strength in the love of her family and friends.
An honest and caring heart, sharing with us her views and always telling the best stories to make you smile.
Taking time to listen with a sympathetic ear.
Knowing her helped us realize how special life is and we are to each other. Sharing a lifelong passion for sports with her husband.
Her enthusiasm and support were unmatched and always on full display.
We each think of moments in her long life and miss her beyond measure.
