Joseph Reynolds

1931 – 2024

William Joseph "Joe" Reynolds of Harriston passed away peacefully at Palmerston Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the age of 93.

Joe was the beloved husband of the late Myrtle (Piper) Reynolds and the late Margaret (Robson) Reynolds. Cherished father of Marie and Charlie Pearson of Proton Station, Ron Reynolds and Joanne Harwood of Powassan, Bill and Carol Reynolds of Holstein, Ken Reynolds of Harriston, Glenda and Brian Marshall of Noelville, Rick Reynolds of Harriston, Pat and Chris Reynolds of B.C., and Jeanette and Kevin Hill of Moorefield. He will also be fondly remembered by his stepchildren Fred Enge and Marilyn Stemmler of Harriston, Steve and Nancy Enge of Delta, BC, Roger Enge and Kristine Thompson of Georgetown, Vicki Enge and Shawn Dunn of Toronto, Carolann Enge and Jim Riedel of Harriston, Barbara and Paul Whitfield of Listowel, and Mary and Mark Strachan of Oro-Medonte.

Joe will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as his siblings Joyce Reaman, Keith and Donna Reynolds, Carl and Bernie Reynolds, Fred and Jean Reynolds, and Betty and Doug Nightingale. He was predeceased by his son Dave Reynolds, daughter-in-law Iris Reynolds, granddaughter Tacey Reynolds, great-grandchild Brooke Reynolds, brother Stewart Reynolds, sister Ann Smith and husband Howard, and brother-in-law Doug Reaman.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Harriston United Church on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Joe's memory may be made to the Palmerston & District Hospital.
