Steve Rimbault

Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Victoria Hospital, London, Steve Rimbault passed away in his 71st year. Beloved husband and best friend of Judi Haggarty.

Steve will be dearly missed by his children Andrea Kwok (Andrew), Angela Miles (Chris), Andrew Rimbault (Caroline), Lindsay Murphy, and Allison Haggarty. Proud Papa of Wesley, Trevor, Dylan, Brandon, Sarah, Ewan, Quentin, Tanner, Hudson, and Owen. He is survived by his siblings Ellen Rayner (John), Carol Farquharson (Jim), and remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Steve was predeceased by his sister Susan Haggis (Ted).

A self-employed Recycling Specialist for over 50 years, Steve also became a global authority on sports memorabilia, sharing his expertise and passion with collectors worldwide. As a published author and a Mason of 43 years with Moffat Lodge No. 399, he left a legacy of service and commitment.

Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A Masonic Service under the auspices of Moffat Lodge No. 399 A.F. & A.M. will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario or the London Food Bank.
