Jack Rintjema
1956 - 2025
With his daughters by his side, Jack passed peacefully into eternal glory at the age of 68 after a quick and courageous battle with cancer.
Loving father to Lindsay & Jimmy Brink, Lauren & Steve Sunnen, and Kerri & Jonathan Zettler. Proud grandpa to Aiden, Leah & Austin Brink, Owen & Griffin Sunnen, and Hudson, Nolan & Riley Zettler.
He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Diane & Keith Vreman, Ray Rintjema, Joyce & John Menger, Tom Rintjema, Sue & John Koopman, Dave & Trudy Rintjema, Rob & Arlene Rintjema, Christine & Phil Oosterman, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Martin & Pearl Rintjema.
Jack was born and remained in Chatham his entire life. He was always a hard worker and loved his career in the construction industry, a role he started as a young man working for his father.
Most importantly, Jack was a devoted Christian who lived fully, loved deeply, and served selflessly. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and steadfast faith that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Thank you to all the wonderful nurses and staff at the Chatham-Kent Hospice for taking such good care of us during this time.
