STEWART, Robbie Keith - July 20, 1965 - September 2, 2017
Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the age of 52.
Beloved husband of Maria for 19 years.
Cherished son of Brian and Charlotte Stewart and brother of Brian (Adriana) and Mike (Karen).
Dear son-in-law of Robert and Gwen Bartsch and brother-in-law to Kim (Darryl) and Jaime (Joseph). Proud uncle to Darryl Jr., Joel (Zak) and Kori (Jordan) and great uncle to Cole and Sloan.
Rob was proud of his 11 years of service in the 7th Toronto Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery Reserves and retired a Sergeant.
In 1993, he was deployed to Cyprus with the United Nations Peacekeeping Force.
Rob was a dedicated teacher, most recently at GL Roberts Collegiate in Oshawa, where he passed on his love of the culinary arts to his students. Rob's family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and staff at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa, and in particular the Cancer Centre, for their care and compassion over the years.

Rob had an incredible enthusiasm to live his life to the fullest and was inspired to become a patient advocate and volunteered as a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Lakeridge Health and with Cancer Care Ontario. His courage and strength were an inspiration to everyone who knew him and we are so very proud of him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 1, 2017 for a Celebration of Life at OSHAWA GOLF AND CURLING CLUB (160 Alexandra Street, Oshawa) from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Lakeridge Health Foundation would be appreciated.
