ARBOUR, Robert "Bob" - It is with the fondest memories and saddened hearts we announce the passing of our much-loved father, Bob Arbour.
Peacefully, surrounded by his family on December 30, 2023, in his 88th year, God called his son home.
Bobby was born on January 31, 1935, in Penetanguishene, Ontario.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Liz" Sovey for 65 years through sickness and in health, good times and bad, they were together.
Father of Robbie (Nancy), Kathy (Mike), Neil (Sherry), Allen and Jennie (Eric).
Loving Boppa to Nicole, Matthew, Rebecca, Bradley, Abbey, Daniel, Anthony, Brett, Zachary and Riley; and great-grandfather to Jailyn, Taylor, Sasha, Carter, Henry and Maximus. Late brother to Jack, Elmer, Lawrence, Leonard, Jules, Cecil, and sister, Rita.
Family, friends and others whose lives Bob touched are invited to attend visitation at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel, on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow.
