Bob Hayes was born in Oshawa and was a long-time employee of the City of Toronto Zoo.
Beloved husband of the late Josie Laarakkers, Dear father of Paul, Lisa and Daniel.
Grandfather of Mitchell, Rachael, Daniel, Claire, Isiah and Amber.
Predeceased by his parents Bruce and Eleanor (Sargent) Hayes and his brother Bill. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of the Laarakkers Family. Bob will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will be received at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton on Friday April 12th from 1 PM until time of funeral service at 2 PM.
If so desired, memorial donations, in memory of Bob, to the Brock Township Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated by the family.
