SMIT, Robert - Passed away at Lakeridge Hospital on October 12, 2021 at the age of 68.
beloved husband of Lynda, loving father of James (Amber) & Rachel (David), brother of Adrian, Sonja (Jim), George (the late Lois), Raymond (Mary) and his many nieces and nephews.
Fondly remembered for his incredible skills as a master craftsman.
Robert shared his talents to help enrich the lives of all those around him.
He could often be found helping complete strangers who were in need and making new friends everywhere.
In lieu of flowers please share a memory you have of him or go out and help someone who is struggling the way he would have.
Due to the current pandemic a Funeral service will be postponed until his family can be together.
A celebration of life will be held where he was happiest, overlooking the natural splendor of Baptiste Lake, Bancroft, when current travel restrictions allow.
