Ron Robinson
November 26, 1957 – October 29, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ron Robinson of Blenheim, who passed away at home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the age of 66. Known for his kindness and humor, Ron brightened everyone’s day with a joke and a smile. His warmth and generosity will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
He was a devoted father to Janelle Pepper (Brett), Melissa Robinson (Tim), Matthew Robinson (Kelley), and Michael Shaw (Ashley), and a loving grandfather to Jordyn, Simon, Tayler, Tatum, Logan, Kendall, Liam, Morgen, Brooklynn, Coraline, and Kayla. Ron is also remembered by his sisters Lynn Coll and Diana Ytsma (Mike), and his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Marilyn & Richard DeClerk, sister Cheryl Haskell, and brother Doug Robinson (survived by Evelyn).
Ron was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, a lover of wrestling, and could often be seen driving his Mustang convertible with the top down, enjoying life. He worked for many years as a janitor for the local school board and was known for his dedication and hard work.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 5th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation.
In memory of Ron, memorial donations may be made to the Blenheim Youth Centre.
