Maria Rodrigues

November 9, 1960 – December 24, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Rodrigues, our beloved mother, wife, and sister.
Maria was the daughter of the late Guilherme and Maria Justina Rodrigues. She was the loving wife of Mauricio Sarmiento, adoring mother of Justina Sarmiento and Cassandra Sarmiento, and caring sister of Vasco Rodrigues.

She was deeply loved and cherished by her husband, Mauricio, and her two daughters, Justina and Cassandra. Maria’s strength of spirit, love, and hope for the future will be cherished forever.

Maria was a lifelong learner who loved to read and truly appreciated music, film, and art. Her family and friends will always carry Maria’s memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM. A funeral mass will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Toronto, on January 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
