DiFlorio RosemaryDiFLORIO, Rosemary Josephine (nee INDOVINA)  -

April 25, 1935 - March 21, 2023

 

Passed peacefully, from this life, on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in her 88th year.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 67 years, Norman; daughters, Anita (Rod) and Lisa; and son, Joseph (Patricia).

 

She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Aiden, Briar Rose, Madison, and Ryan (Amber); as well as her brother, Ross (Mary); along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Mary Indovina; sisters, Anna, Frances, Gloria and Margaret; brothers, Lawrence, and Joseph; and grandson, Kyle.

 

We would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Stevenson Memorial Hospital and Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, along with numerous caregivers through Home and Community Care Support Services. We give our deepest gratitude, in particular to her PSW Mary and Nurse Michelle, for their incredible care and kindness.

 

Also to the numerous doctors and specialists that have provided care for her over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rosemary can be made to Matthews House Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Kidney Foundation.

 

Friends may visit at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Highway 10 at QEW), on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 12:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 921 Flagship Drive, Mississauga, on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
