Natividad Villanueva Salazar
April 5, 1941 - April 16, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished Inang Naty, at home in Ajax, Ontario, surrounded by loving family.
Her memory will be treasured by Amang Angel – her adoring husband of 67 years – and her children Noel, Danny, Nellie, Nieves and their spouses. She is dearly missed by sisters Nina, Anita and Myrna. Her unconditional love will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren Camille, Dana, Precious, Angelo, Christian, Nathan, Keon and Hayleigh, great-grandson Liam, and her nieces, nephews and friends.
A devoted follower of Christ, she has entered into the presence of the Lord to be reunited with her father Tomas, mother Olympia, sisters Hilda and Jovita, nephew Melchor and granddaughter Lovely.
Born April 5, 1941, in Urdaneta City, Philippines, she studied at Urdaneta Community High School before marrying Angel on April 28, 1958. Angel and Naty built their home and raised their children in Urdaneta before moving to the UK in 1976, working in hospitality and the national health service. After 23 years of dedicated service to the Most family in London, they retired in 2005 and settled in Toronto to support their daughter Nellie and her family.
Naty loved ballroom and Filipino folk dancing and was a devoted homemaker. Known for her soft-spoken kindness, she also built community through her work with Tupperware in the early 1970s. Her legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and unwavering love.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ajax Pickering Lakeridge Hospital, Krista Ashik of InspiAir, dear friends Jeanette and EJ, and the congregation of Word Toronto led by Pastors Ramon and Lina Solidum for their support during this time.
