Marilyn Ruth Salmon (née Parmeter)

Surrounded by the love of her family, Marilyn Ruth Salmon (née Parmeter) of Brockville, Ontario, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Brockville General Hospital. Marilyn was born in Ottawa, Ontario, on March 29, 1934, as the eldest child of Raymond and Gwen Parmeter of Iroquois, Ontario.
Marilyn was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Moran, the father of her two sons, Rick (Janice) and David (Heather). She is survived by her loving husband of fifteen years, Eric Salmon (sons Larry [deceased], Brian, and Greg). Beloved Gramma of Alicia (Andrew) Papanicolaou, Clark (Kimberlee) Moran, Jordan Moran, and Brittany Moran (Bobby Bonni). Adored GG of Niko Papanicolaou, Ayo Moran, and Mila Papanicolaou. Cherished sister of Gary (deceased) and Elizabeth Jackson. Survived by nephews: Adam, Matthew, and Scott, and niece Kim. She was also a special “Great” Great Aunt to Stella.
On Saturday, December 21, beginning with visitation at 10 a.m. and a service at noon, family and friends will celebrate Marilyn’s life at Highway Pentecostal Church, Stewart Blvd., to honour her influence and impact on so many. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland, Ontario.
