Kathleen June Savery

June 17, 1930 – March 12, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen June Savery on March 12, 2025.

June is survived by her three children, Cheryl, Doug, and Carol, as well as her seven grandchildren: Heather, Patricia, Tyler, Jason, Brenna, Jordan, and Ryan. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Korrah, Lexi, Merisa, Spenser, and Juniper Lane.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Elgin, and her parents, Francis (Harry) and Amy (née Belcher) Harrison, June leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and community spirit.

June led an active and fulfilling life. She was deeply involved in leadership roles with Girl Guides of Canada for many years. Alongside her husband, Elgin, she was a passionate golfer, playing an instrumental role in organizing golf leagues at Dalewood near Cobourg and at their winter home in North Port, Florida.

As per her final wishes, she has been cremated, and there will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will be arranged later in the spring.
