Giuseppe Sciortino
April 4, 1928 – October 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Giuseppe Sciortino announces his passing on October 28, 2024, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, surrounded by his loved ones. Giuseppe lived a long, full life, passing at the age of 96. He was the beloved husband of the late Susanna, with whom he shared 61 beautiful years of marriage.

Cherished father to Guy, John, and Anthony (Sue), and adored grandfather to Kayden, Giuseppe’s legacy of love and devotion lives on in his family. He is also remembered by his brother Tony (Pina), and predeceased sisters Angela, Nina, and Mattia.

Giuseppe was an active and respected member of his community, as one of the original founders and a longtime president of A.T.E.M. (Associazione Trapanese) in Woodbridge. He continued his community involvement well into his senior years as president of the Mississauga Italian Canadian Senior & Handicapped Club, where he made lasting contributions and friendships.

Giuseppe will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, and community members.
