In Loving Memory
It is with sadness that the Senior family announces Clayton’s passing, but also with gladness that he is now reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.
Clayton grew up in an outport in Newfoundland, fishing alongside his father and cutting wood during the winters. He later moved to Toronto, where he worked on ships and in the manufacturing industry as a skilled millwright.
He leaves behind his sons Rick (Julia) and Wade (Liz), stepdaughter Sandra, sister Jessie, brother Ross, sister-in-law Dorothy, and grandchildren Ryan, Justine, Katie (Nathan), Kevin (Emily), and Connor. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Clarke, Leo, and Elias, and will be deeply missed by his numerous nieces and nephews.
Clayton was predeceased by his first wife Winona, his second wife Alice, his parents Oliver and Lillian, his brothers George and Clyde (Sara), his sister Annie (Sam), and his half-sister Lillian. He was also predeceased by his brothers-in-law Aubrey, Don (Gladys), and Rex, as well as his sister-in-law Grace (Ivan).
In accordance with Clayton’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
Interment will take place at a later date at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Etobicoke, Ontario.
Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery.
