Peacefully surrounded by the warmth and care and in the loving arms of her family at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 24th, 2015; at the age of 86.
Alice Seymour, of Orillia, beloved wife of Bill Seymour for 63 years. Loving mother of Lorie & husband Bob Wild, Sue, Leah & husband John Cavanaugh, Peter, and Joel & wife Terri.
Cherished grandmother of Jessica Wild & husband Jeff McLaughlin, Paul Wild, David Wild, Steve Cordery, Julia Seymour, Tyler Seymour, Madee Cordery, Scott Seymour and Dane Seymour.
Predeceased by her parents David & Gunny Jones and her brothers Eric & Amos Jones.
Alice is survived by her sisters Mildred McIntosh, Edith & husband Doug Belton and Isabel Wolstenholme and sister-in-law Marie Lucas, (Ainsley Seymour, Kay Hass, Patricia Simmons & June (Lander) McMullen all predeceased). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Alice will always be remembered as a kind, gentle and loving lady but a strong wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
The family would like to take this opportunity to convey a grateful thank you for the care and support given our Mother by Dr. Gupta and the Medical Staff of South Lake Regional Health Care Centre, Dr. Tillmann, Dr. Tiegler and all the Medical & Nursing Staff at O.S.M.H. and Visiting Nurse Melanie.
The late Mrs. Alice Seymour will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. and on Monday, September 28th from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 1 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Members of the Lily of the Valley Chapter, #141, O.E.S. are asked to gather in the chapel for service Sunday evening at 6:45.
