MURPHY, Shirley Ruth (nee BYSOUTH) - Shirley passed away peacefully December 29, 2020 in Peterborough, in her 94th year.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, John Murphy.
Together, Shirley and John enjoyed many friendships in Toronto, some starting from high school.
Summers were spent on Lake Kasshabog at the cottage.
Shirley was an avid bridge player, curler and homemaker.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Betty; sons Larry, David (Suzanne), Chris (Susan) and Bruce; grandchildren Sean (Stefannie), Megan (Dane), Caitlyn, Sydney (Josh) and Tyler; great-grandchildren Zosia and Wyatt.
Cremation with a private family interment is planned for the spring.
