FORBES, Paul - Suddenly at home on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the age of 71.
Devoted husband of Margaret “Peggy”.
Loving father of Timothy Forbes (Amy).
Cherished grandfather of Kristopher, Katie, Danika, Jordan and great grandfather of Ava.
Will be sadly missed by his brothers Jim, Walter and Gerry, sisters Gail, Wendy and Ginny, brother-in-law David King and by Maureen Forbes, who was like a daughter to him.
A supportive boss, friend and father figure to all who were part of his family at Midhurst Roofing, Paul was well known as a generous, kind gentleman, a jokester and an amazing man who impacted all those around him.
Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, Barrie on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 from 7-9 pm, with funeral service on Monday, July 30th at 11 am in the Chapel, followed by a reception in the Lounge. Interment at Stayner.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.

BURDEN, Bethea - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet Bethea Burden, after a long, hard-fought battle with diabetes, kidney disease, and heart disease. Bethea passed away on July 23, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, in Hamilton, Ontario. Age 65 years.
Loving wife of Roger Burden for forty-seven years.
Dear mother of Tammy Nason (Allan); Trisha Jordan (John); and Tiffany Persaud (Ryan).
Loving grandmother of Dylan Burden; Hailey, Geoffrey, Vanessa, and Alyssa Nason; Jonathan, Connor and Owen Jordan; and Amaya and Linaya Persaud.
Great grandmother to Gage, Ivy, and Lucas.
Survived by her brother Kristen (Skip) Johnson. Pre-deceased by her parents William and Olive Johnson.
Bethea also leaves a very large extended family, and a long list of loving friends – she will be dearly missed, and the world will not be the same without her. Bethea recently retired from the Home Care/CCAC office after over thirty years of dedicated service.
Our sincere thanks to the long list of health care professionals who worked so hard to extend her life, while keeping her healthy and happy. You will remember Bethea because of her unique name and her sweet disposition.
As was Bethea’s wish, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bethea’s wonderful life will be held at the Parry Sound Golf and Country Club, on Saturday, August 25th, 2018, at 1:00 P.M.
If desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated.

IRELAND, James - Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Monday, July 23, 2018.
James Ireland, beloved husband of Helen, was in his 91st year.
Dear father of Dale, Steve and Bob Ireland.

Loving great-grandfather of Teresa.
Jim is survived by his sisters Jean Ferguson (Mac) and Viola Rossi (Carlo) and will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at Ahmic Harbour on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00am with Reverend Dr. Walter Winger officiating.

BARKER, Orval Graham - Died peacefully on July 23, 2018 at the wonderful age of 97.
He served from 1941-1945 as a Flight Lieutenant and Wireless Air Gunner in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
His career in retailing brought Orval and his wife Norma (predeceased) and their two children Brian Barker of Calgary and Sue (Ian) Kerr of Baysville from Montreal to Sudbury and then to Gravenhurst in 1971 where he opened Crest Hardware and later operated Heritage Men's Wear and Shoes.
A Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow, Orval sat on many boards and committees as varied as Family and Children's Services, the Gravenhurst Curling Club and Habitat for Humanity.
Riverside Public School students will remember Orval and Norma baking and volunteering in their daughter's (Ms. Barker) class. His thoughtful and optimistic nature and great sense of humour were with him to the end.
If you wish, donations may be made to Fairvern Nursing Home where he was cared for so wonderfully.

Loving dad and best friend of Michael (Miranda) and step-grandpa of McKai and Maddi.
Dear brother of Donald and the late Elizabeth Maxwell.

MADOWER, Shirley Susan (Noseworthy) - On Monday July 23, 2018 beloved Shirley passed away after a long illness. Shirley passed away with daughter (Janice Galesic) and granddaughter (Jessica Neelin) by her side.
“Curly Shirley” was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Shirley was famous for her loafs and was nicknamed “Mrs. Loaf”. She was loved and adored for 37 years where she worked at Look Ho Ho in Halifax.
Shirley married the love of her life the late John Charles Madower and enjoyed 48 years of blissful marriage.
Shirley is survived by her children Mike Rideout (Lisa), John A. Madower (Shuhui) and Janice Galesic (Ivan) sister Doreen Richardson and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded by her husband John Charles Madower, brothers Robert, Ronald and Albert Noseworthy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 28th 2018, from 2pm – 5 pm at 88 Cardinal St. Barrie.

DUNLEVY, Joseph “Joe” Julius - Passed away at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the age of 87.
Joe of Wasaga Beach, predeceased by his wife Elizabeth.
Father of Linda (Andy), Joe (Bea), Brian (Sheila), Jim (Charlene), Janet, Gord (Jodie), Karen (Bob).
Brother of Gladys, Doreen and the late Eldon.

Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, Wasaga Beach on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. A reception will follow before interment at Toronto.

HURD, Irene Marie (Regimbal) - 1941-2018 - Passed away peacefully on July 23, 2018 after many years with Alzheimer’s.
She was one of the most loving ladies and will miss her dearly.
She leaves behind William Hurd, her children Gary (Michele), Jim and Tina.
She was grandmother to Steven, Zack, Katy, Tiffany, Alyssa, David, Haley, Jaden, Jed, Aaron, Cole and Sophia, as well as seven great grandchildren.

FORTUNATO, Marc Fortunato - March 23, 1989 - July 23, 2018 - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marc Fortunato. He passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie Ontario surrounded by family and loved ones.
Son of Robin Fortunato and John Fortunato, partner of Kelly Warren, brother to Norma and Frankie Fortunato, father to Jackson Purves and Ella Fortunato.
Other loved ones include: step father Gerry Lantaigne, step mother Melissa Fortunato and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Beloved nephew and cousin to Ed, Tari, Maxine and Lukas Roosien and Jamie Dilks.
Marc loved his family, Jeff (his truck), hunting, fishing and anything that involved the outdoors. He worked hard on building his contracting business and was a trusted member of the community. He carved his own path and made his family proud.
Marc left us too soon and he will be forever missed.

MACDONALD, David James Craig Michael - Passed away suddenly at his home in Gravenhurst on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the age of 69 years.
David was predeceased by his son Jeff (Cari).
Survived by his beloved wife Heather, daughter Hali Camick, son Brent (Becky) and by his beloved grandchildren: Brady, Jett, Whitney (Keith), Mariah (Devon), Walker, Tilly, Pippa, Chloe, Finn and Oliver.
David is also survived by his brothers Glenn (June), Paul (Jane) and Steven (late Donna) and will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Gravenhurst on Friday, August 3rd 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Immediately following the service a reception will be held in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
