Shirley Doreen Slowleigh (née Petrie)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Doreen Slowleigh (née Petrie), age 94. Doreen passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2025, surrounded by family.
Predeceased by her husband William Slowleigh, she is survived by her children Robert French, Linda Trewartha, Paul Graham, and Brian Slowleigh. She was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
A ceremony in her honor will be held on March 1, 2025, with visitation at 2 pm and a service at 3 pm at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St W, Toronto.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Daily Bread Food Bank and Children’s Aid Society of Toronto are appreciated.
