Coramae Louise Slute

May 25, 1967 - December 10, 2024

With weeping hearts, the family of Coramae Louise Slute (nee Fulford) announce her passing on December 10, 2024, at Toronto Western Hospital following brain surgery.

Cori, the daughter of Brian and Dorothy Fulford (known only to her as “Daddy” and “Mama Bear”), was born on May 25, 1967, in Brampton. She was the first girl born in the direct Fulford line in over 200 years.

She has left a void in the hearts of her parents, her long-time partner Freddy White, her adored daughters Lacey Breault and Dani-Lyn (Thomas) Collins, and her cherished grandsons Austin Breault, Landon Breault, Hunter Collins, and Noah Collins.

She will be missed by the family of her beloved brother David Fulford (deceased) (Joanne) and sister and best friend Dora Lyn (Steve) Hicks. She was the loved aunt of Braeden Fulford, Grayson Fulford, Stephanie (Dan) Bennett, and Krystal (Kaine) Laursen. Great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends will also miss her sunny smile.

Cori was educated in Port Perry and attended Durham College. Her natural ability to communicate with the public and her mechanical knowledge was recognized by Marigold Ford in Whitby, who immediately hired her. This began a thirty-year career as a service writer with Ford dealerships in Ontario and Alberta, where she placed in the top five service writers in Canada for several years.

Cori and Fred loved adventure. They lived in Primitive Northern Ontario, Alberta, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Cori’s bubbly personality and “I can fix it” attitude drew people into her circle. Because of this loving characteristic, three people now have a new lease on life.

"Cori, we loved you in life, we cherish your memory in death."

A Celebration of Cori’s life will be held at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Port Perry Chapel in June 2025. Please visit the website in May for details.

Those who wish to express their sympathy, please consider donating to the animal rescue in Mexico that Cori held dear to her heart. Donations can be made via the Animales Troncones PayPal account: Animalestroncones@paypal.me. For those unable to use PayPal, please reach out to the family.
