It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David William Smith on October 30, 2024, at the age of 85. David, a retired RCMP officer and a dedicated member of the Ajax/Bowmanville & Durham Regional Police Services, was a beloved husband to Camille for 63 years. Cherished as “Gramps,” he was adored by his ten grandchildren, Kyle (Danielle), Callie (Brock), Kohl (Veronica), Brigha, Julia (Graham), Kiera, Kendra, Sophie-Lynn, Griffin, and Josephine, and as "Great Gramps" to his great-grandchildren, Cora, Troy, Finnigan, and Violet.
