Gladys Louise Stickley Sollenberger
1926 – 2024
Gladys Louise Stickley (nee Sollenberger) passed away peacefully in her 98th year on December 9, 2024. Predeceased by her husband, Harvey Stickley, her daughter Tammy, and her son-in-law Ken, along with her baby girls Cheryl, Shirley, and Sharon, who each passed away within the first year of their lives.
She will be forever loved by her son Tim, daughter-in-law Paula, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Gladys grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and attended a one-room country school with her siblings before graduating from Messiah Academy. Later, she was invited by Niagara Christian College (NCC) to serve as secretary-bookkeeper, where she met Harvey Stickley. Together, they served as Pastor and wife to several church congregations throughout the years.
A celebration of Gladys’s life will be held at Heritage Community Church, 310 Seventh Street, Collingwood, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior.
