Darcy Ryan Dominic Spanish

August 24, 1985 – December 14, 2024

In Loving Memory of Darcy Ryan Dominic Spanish, known as "Da Rhoades" Miss-Kwa Aandek, who passed away suddenly at his home on December 14, 2024, at the age of 39.

Darcy is survived by his beloved daughter, Rhianna Spanish. He was the cherished son of Nicholas Spanish and Harriet Sutherland (step-mother) and is predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Pitawanakwat. Loving brother of Yvette Spanish, and the late Nicholas Spanish Jr. and Ashley Spanish, as well as Mike Spanish. He was a proud uncle to Annabelle Spanish, Xavier Spanish, Madison Rose, Jayce Pitawanakwat, Jaiden Pitawanakwat, Christianna Pitawanakwat, Jordan Pitawanakwat, and Anthony Wabegijig.

Darcy will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, and extended family, including the late Gordon Spanish, Chris Spanish, Terry Spanish, and Gloria Spanish, and surviving family members Godfrey, Ernie Ominika, Julius Ominika, Vera Laporta, Gail Panamick, Debra Pitawanakwat, Gary Pitawanakwat, and Dorothy Pitawanakwat.

Darcy was a kind, gentle, and caring person who loved spending time with his family and enjoyed outings. His love for music, especially rap music, brought him joy, with favorite artists including Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Eminem, Juice WRLD, and Jay-Z.

Family and friends will gather at the Sheshegwaning Complex for visitation on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Sheshegwaning Cemetery.
