Arthur James Spittal

October 11, 1950 - November 10, 2024

We sadly announce the passing of Arthur Spittal on November 10, 2024.

Beloved husband of the late Edith Spittal (nee McKinnon). Loving father to Angela and Alison, and father-in-law to Adam and Jeff. Dear Papa to Sophie, Ronan, Liam, and Emma. Dear brother to Sadie, Jim, Margaret, and Jackie. Arthur will be missed by many extended family and friends both in Canada and Scotland.

A celebration of life will take place at the Durham Celtic Supporters Club, 110 Ash Street, Whitby, on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friends and family are encouraged to wear green, if you would like to.

For those who wish, donations can be made in Arthur’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
