Douglas Howard Stoutt

December 28, 1946 - November 12, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Howard Stoutt, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Doug was born on December 28, 1946, to parents Howard and Irene Stoutt in Aurora, Ontario.

He leaves behind his children David Stoutt and Nicole McKenna (nee Stoutt) and grandchildren Mackenzie, Kaleigh, Cole, and Alexis. Doug passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Mississauga Hospital on November 12, 2024, at the age of 77.

Doug grew up in Aurora, attending Wells Street Public School and Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School. He joined the Airforce after school and later transitioned into a successful career in retail management with companies like United Cigar Stores and Laura Secord. Doug ultimately found his passion in the real estate industry, where he worked for over 40 years before retiring in Port Credit by the lake.

Doug cherished travelling to sunny destinations, golfing, and boating on Lake Simcoe and Lake Ontario. His warmth and generosity will be fondly remembered by his many friends and family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on December 14, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Armoury on Mosley Street, Aurora, Ontario.
