Urmas Sui
June 29, 1942 - October 5, 2024

Urmas Sui passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the age of 82 years.

Loved and deeply missed by his wife, Iivi, and by his son Aleks, daughter-in-law Elaine, and granddaughters Stella and Lily. Also remembered by the Bezuhly family and family in Estonia and Sweden.

Urmas loved the outdoors, enjoying decades of hunting and fishing trips, and hiking the Uxbridge trails. His chainsaw held a special place in his heart, and he took pride in overstocking the woodshed with logs for the woodstove. Urmas never lost faith in his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, convinced that this was the year they would take the Cup.

A long-time proud member of the Toronto Estonian Pistol Club and the Estonian fraternity Sakala, Urmas met life-long friends through these communities. Known as a gracious host, he made friends easily.

Cremation has been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge. A celebration of Urmas’ life will be held at Wooden Sticks Golf Club, Uxbridge, Ontario, on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Messages of condolence and shared memories can be left for the family by visiting Low & Low Funeral Home.
