WAGNER, Susan (nee CALLON) - It is with sadness we report the peaceful passing of Susan Elizabeth Wagner on February 23, 2024, at her home, from her 8-year battle with cancer.
Susan was 60 years old.
Susan was predeceased by her mother, Marjorie Callon; and is survived by her husband, Tony; son, Ryan (Alison); daughter, Amanda; grandson, Mason; and brothers, Mark and Glen, and their loving families.
Our family is thankful for the support of the North York Hospital cancer clinic, and in particular Dr. Vivian Glenns and Dr. Amanda Li.
Susan was a joy to the world and the many people she touched with her smile, care and endless love.
Susan's passion was teaching and helping young children, as she obtained her Early Childhood Educator certificate and then worked in kindergarten classrooms in the Toronto District School Board.
She will also be remembered and loved by the Westview Presbyterian Church congregation.
Visitations will be held Wednesday, February 28th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2nd.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road.
Donations are welcomed, in lieu of flowers, to the North York General Hospital Foundation.
