ZLOT, Susan   - With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Zlot, wife of the late Neil Zlot, on July 19, 2022, surrounded by family, after a 5-year long battle with cancer, at the age of 77.

Susan was born Anastasia Assimopoulos, in Nea Smyrni, Athens, Greece on October 19, 1944, to parents Constandina and Demetri.

Predeceased by the late George Moulas, father to three loving children: Constance (Dan Holroyd), Vicki (Andrew Chalmers) and Lesley (Peter Athanaselos).

Proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Jesse, Joseph, Julia, George, Justin, Anastasia and John. Survived by her younger sister, Katy Giorgoudakis; and godson, Steven Kyriacopoulos. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 4-8 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. John Greek Orthodox Church (1385 Warden Avenue, Scarborough) on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11 a.m. Followed by burial at Pine Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.

Special thanks to the amazing doctors, nurses and care staff that helped our mother in her battle at North York General Hospital and Bendale Acres.
