In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Gordon Taber on March 7, 2025. Jeffery was a devoted husband to Susan and a loving father to Jessica (Marc), Michelle (Bella), Amanda (Adam), and Michelle (Jake). He was a cherished brother to Steve (Melanee), Charlie (Ruth Ann), Julie (Ken), and Victoria (Tom). Jeffery was also a proud grandfather to River and a beloved pet-grandfather to Dominic, Shaw, Buddie, Socks, Indo, Charlie, and George.

As a devoted uncle, Jeffery’s love extended to his nieces and nephews: Sarah (Mike), Rebecca (Justin), Erin (Derek), Kate (Morgan), Jon (Jess), and Fred (Kendra), and he was a great-uncle to Sophie, Mason, and Brody. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home (5295 Thickson Rd. N, Whitby, ON) on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. A private family service will follow in the Barnes Chapel.

Interment: A private burial will take place at Groveside Cemetery (5155 Baldwin St., Whitby, ON).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society of Durham Region would be greatly appreciated.
