Pearl Loraine Tait

1938 - 2025

In Loving Memory

Peacefully, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at her home in Fraserville, at the age of 86. Pearl leaves to mourn her sons, Philip and David, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children Austin Earl, Marjorie, Richard, and Peter James.

Pearl loved nature and enjoyed spending time in Cullen Gardens before its closing in 2005. She worked as a house cleaner in various homes and at the Scugog Shores Museum on Scugog Island. In addition, she provided child care for many years before retiring in her 70s, becoming a main childcare provider for three generations of several families.

A longtime member of The Jehovah’s Witnesses, Pearl dedicated much of her time to volunteering at Prince Albert, R.H. Cornish, and Raglan Public Schools. She was always welcoming, offering coffee and a snack to anyone who stopped by her home. She also had many pen pals from all over the world.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Moran, nurses, PSWs, and the Care Mobile team for their care and support.
