Adele Elizabeth Tamosaitis

July 2, 1927 – November 28, 2024

Adele Elizabeth Tamosaitis, aged 97, of Mississauga, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, surrounded by love. Born in Garliava, Lithuania, Adele was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth (Kairiukstyte) Gincas and Edward Gincas. She attended schools in Lithuania and Germany before immigrating to Canada after World War II.

A devoted mother to John, Rita, Donna, and Kristina, Adele was also a loving grandmother to Bianca, Michael, and Alex. Known for her sense of humor, Adele enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, and entertaining friends. Her family holds many fond memories of her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit.

Adele was predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew and her siblings Jonas, Natalija, Albinas, Alex, and Vytas. She leaves behind her children and grandchildren, who will carry her love in their hearts forever.

Friends are invited to pay their respects at Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Saint John’s Lithuanian Cemetery.
