TATCHELL, Brian "Jake" - February 24, 1943 - September 8, 2015
(Retired long time employee of Region of Durham Works Department February 2009)
Passed away peacefully at Ajax - Pickering Hospital on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at the age of 72.
Beloved husband of Edna (nee Graham) they recently celebrated their 49th anniversary.
Predeceased by his parents Fanny (Sharp) and George Tatchell. Loving father of Karen (Lawrence Platt), Tim Tatchell (Kelly).
Cherished Papa of Hannah and Jake. Dear brother of Dennis and Diane. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lovingly remembered by the large extended Graham family.
Brian was a dedicated volunteer for Community Care Whitby for 15 years, member of Jaycee International Senate – Durham Chapter. Those who knew Brian will remember him as an avid Blue Jays fan.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 11th from 7 – 9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 12th at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Care – Whitby or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
