GOMES, Teotonia (Teo)  - Formerly of Nairobi, Mombasa and Dar es Salaam; born in Aldona, Goa, on February 10, 1916.

Teo passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on March 8, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of the late Effie; loving father to Ivo, Francis (Jennifer), Phil (Vernon) and Joyce;

devoted grandfather to Melanie (Del), Hayley (Stuart), Anil (Sue), Nikhil (Mary Anne), Natasha, Christine (Reggie), Jonathan and Christopher (Yi-Mei); and doting great-grandfather to Brooke, Jessica, Grace, Rosa, Anna, William, Nia, Noah and Ethan.

Friends and family will be received at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto on Sunday, March 12th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 13th at Good Shepherd Parish, 21 Simonston Boulevard, Thornhill, at 10 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul or Covenant House.
