Lorraine Bruce (née Thibault)

In loving memory of Lorraine Bruce (née Thibault), 97 years, who passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of Gordon Bruce, who predeceased her in 2010. She was a devoted mother to Veryl Potvin (Ron), Allan (Carol, predeceased), Debbie Weiler (Bill), Myles, and Glenn (Raija). A proud grandmother, she cherished her 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Born to the late Napoleon and Alexandrine Thibault, Lorraine was the dear sister of Dorothy Racicot and was predeceased by her siblings Lillian, Theresa, Robert, Jeannette, Lucy, Ronald, Lucien, and Leo. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, including many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was known for her kindness, resilience, and love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury, on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Civic Cemetery.
