AGNEW, Thomas "Tom" - Born in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland, Tom passed away after a short battle with cancer, at Scarborough General Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband, of 50 years, to the late Christina Agnew.
Loving Dad to Lynne Thibault and Heather Agnew.
Cherished Grandad to Andy.
He was the brother of Catherine, and John (Leslie) and brother-in-law to Bill (Mary-Lou) and Gwen (Brian).
Tom will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, as well as his "adopted" granddaughters, his friends, neighbours and neighbourhood dogs.
A Memorial Service will be held for Tom on Saturday, April 27th at 12:00 p.m. at ST. TIMOTHY'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 4125 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough. Visitation at the church, one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Toronto Humane Society to help the animals that Tom loved so much, would be greatly appreciated.
