Thomas Desmond Thompson
1941 - 2024

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas “Tom” Thompson, who left us peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, at the age of 83.

Tom was the loving husband of Pauline Thompson and a devoted father to his daughters, Yvonne, Charlotte (Mark), and Mary (Naji). He was a proud grandfather to Brett, Garrett, Adam, Rylee, Eli, and Mya. Tom is predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Mary Thompson, and his brothers, Frank, Des, Pete, and Mike. Full of life, Tom cherished time spent on the water, boating, and being with his family and friends. Above all, he held a deep devotion to his wife Pauline, his children, and his grandchildren. His presence will be missed dearly.

Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tom was a parishioner of Mary Immaculate Church; however, due to construction, his Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, London, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
