With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert “Alvin” Timmons, 67, of Ottawa, on December 11, 2024, after a brief illness with Glioblastoma.

Alvin was a remarkable partner, step-father, son, brother, and friend whose generosity and optimism brightened every life he touched. He is survived by his devoted partner, Lynda, and their pup Mia. He will be deeply missed by his cherished stepchildren Lisa (Don), Lori (Dave), and Michelle (Phil). He was a beloved “Pops” to 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Bob and Ann Timmons and brother Gerry, Alvin will be forever remembered by his siblings, Marilyn (Allan), Doug (Wendy), Fred, Kevin, and their families.

Alvin touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life: A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Riverside Pub, 3673 Riverside Dr., Ottawa, ON, K1V 1G8.
