Tome Tomovski
October 5, 1941 - January 14, 2025
Tome Tomovski, 83, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, with family by his side. We were blessed with the chance to tell him how loved he was, and how proud we were to call him Dad and Dedo.
In his 20’s, Tome met and married the love of his life, Susan (Trajka), in Toronto, both having emigrated from Macedonia to Canada. Together, they had three loving sons: Alexander, Nick, and Tome Jr. Despite becoming blind at the age of 30, Tome never let that define him. He embraced life fully, raising his sons with love, strength, and determination, and supporting his family through every challenge. Nothing made him happier than talking about his boys and the joy they brought him. His positivity, sense of humor, and joy for life shone brightest when he was surrounded by his family, including countless uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Tome’s great memories will carry us through this difficult time. We are comforted by the thought of his reunion in Heaven with Susan and by knowing that he ‘sees’ anew again. Almost exactly three years to the day after Susan passed away, Tome joins his loving parents Alekso and Menka, his beautiful sister Nevena, and many other cherished relatives in Heaven.
Tome will be dearly missed by his sons Alexander, Nick, and Tome Jr., their wives Rachel, Annika, and Aa-Na, and his seven adoring grandchildren: Braedon, Logan, Kailee, Erik, Amanda, Isabella, and Kaya. He will also be lovingly remembered by the extended Tomovski and Tzongas families.
Rest in peace, Dad. We love you!
