
Ann Theresa O'Toole
23 April, 1946 – 14 January, 2025
Ann Theresa O’Toole (née Mostyn) passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on January 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was the proud wife of the late John O’Toole (d. 2013). She was a beloved mother to Elizabeth and James O’Toole (Julia) and a cherished grandmother to James Butler.
Ann was a devoted sister to Maureen (d. 2016), Bridget (Tony), Michael (Margaret), Christy, Vincent (Celia, d. 2012), and Tommy. Born in County Sligo, Ireland, Ann immigrated to Canada in her late teens, settling in Oshawa where she built a beautiful life for her family.
Ann will be remembered fondly for her kind and generous spirit, her sense of humor, her incredible culinary skills, and her unwavering dedication to her loved ones. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa and to Ann’s Personal Support Workers, Andrea and Caroline, for their dedicated care and compassion.

- Funeral Mass: Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM
- Location: St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 214 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, Ontario
- Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby
- Reception: Following the interment at Thornton Arms Pub, Oshawa
