DAMOVSKI, Tomka - It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Mother, Wife, Baba and Great Baba, Tomka Damovski on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
Tomka was born in Bouf, Macedonia on Aug 7th, 1930. She moved to Skopje where she met her husband Kosta, and later settled in Bitola with her family.
Tomka came to Canada in 1970 with her family, where over the next 49 years she became a loving aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.
Tomka is survived by her husband Kosta, along with her 3 daughters - Zora, Luba and Maggie, as well as her 6 grandchildren - Louis, Mary, Steven, Linda, Michael and Tania, as well as her 15 great grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, Christian, Austin, Victoria, Tommy, Ava, Olivia, Luca, Mila, Luka, Lana, Ethan, Lauren and Robert.
Tomka will forever be loved and remember by eye bright blue eyes, and beautiful smile and for her kindness, love and generosity.
The family sincerely thanks those who have expressed their condolences and love, and greatly appreciate the support they have been given during this difficult time.
Visitation was held at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Thursday, August 1st, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 5:00pm - 9:00pm. The service took place at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral, 76 Overlea Blvd, Toronto on Friday, August 2nd, 2019 at 12:30pm.
